Which bank account do you need to connect to?

So that we can finalise your application, and comply with responsible lending standards, we are required to verify all income and expenses. You can do this by submitting your latest bank statements via the secure Illion Bank Statement service (learn more here: https://bankstatements.com.au).

When you submit statements using the secure Illion Bank Statements service, we will receive the last 3 month bank statements electronically for all bank accounts held under your name with that bank.

What kind of access would Illion have to my account?

Illion will be provided with read-only access. Neither Illion or OurMoneyMarket are able to transact on your bank account.

We only obtain access to your bank statements in order to assist in the credit assessment process of your loan application.

How do you access my personal bank statements?

There are two options:

  1. You can provide your internet banking credentials through the Illion gateway. This is a safe and secure gateway in which your internet banking credentials will be encrypted and passed to your bank so that we can be provided with details of your recent transaction history. Your credentials are then permanently deleted. If you are still concerned about the security of internet banking password, you can simply change your password after using the service.
  2. You can manually upload your last 3 months’ bank statements. This however will increase the time in which you will receive a decision on your loan application and also incurs a manual assessment fee.
